I bought my 04 as a leftover in 05 for $100 over cost. Suzuki will soon see sales drop and will offer incentives. Street price should be closer to $7500z they are already giving away the goody bag with pre-orders. Really needed that 6th gear- BADLY

Let’s see, bikes I would rather buy than this dinosaur – Kove 450, KTM 390 adv or enduro, cfmoto ibex 450. Hell, I’d rather buy a used T7 or 690 rather than this bike. This bike might be competitive at $7k. Might.

Anyone care to place a bet? Will the pricing question campaign going on in social media and web forums have any effect with Suzuki? Every Facebook post about this bike from any where in the world seems to be filed with the price is wrong / too high. Web forums posts about this bike are also filed with too much $ for what you get. Will Suzuki change course or stay dug in with price? Is there any past example where they changed price after feedback. How the sell or not is the ultimate litmus test in the end, consumers vote with their money.

If Suzuki had upgraded to a 6spd or at least wide ratio 5speed, 3+ gallon tank and comfy touring seat they would been seen as a premium product & not be getting the price pushback. Suzuki spent time asking users what they wanted to see in the update and choose to no implement any of those. It’s still a great update and will sell well enough.

Too expensive now despite upgrades. As with my DR650, I’ll wait a few years to get a clean used one for many thousands less.

More suspension, less weight, less HP and more $$$ than the KTM 390. I guess I am still a 450cc + kind of guy.
