How far will it go at typical freeway speeds around 80 mph?…. I’m guessing about 12 to 14 miles. Why don’t electric vehicles sell better? Because they have absolutely no idea what the real world looks like, they don’t ever give you real world numbers. Ideal conditions in the lab don’t mean much out here, not a single one of those companies can be trusted….ever.

In reply to Eric Vaillancourt. This was a Guinness World Record attempt, with officials on hand to inspect the bike and its data at each stop to ensure it hadn’t been charged. Obviously, it doesn't take 16 hours to ride 193 miles. The Verge team also recorded and computed data at every stop for development purposes. This record was purely about demonstrating the progress of electric motorcycle technology—something tech-minded riders are eager to follow.

If the article is correct, they took 16 hours to ride 193 miles in urban conditions. That’s an average speed of only 12mph. Clearly something is wrong with the stated data.

Far more deserving of an “Awww, isn’t that cute?” than any record other than wasting a lot of time to travel a short distance. Go back to the workshop and let the world know when you can beat the average distance of a 150cc scooter’s single tank of fuel.

Pathetic. Sorry but the technology has been severely dumbed down. My R.C car is still over 300% more efficient. Use it’s technology and that bike will do over 1,000 miles. Lol suppressed technology is becoming a nightmare for society. Grow up guys your not the first.

I applaud there work and accomplishment . I do wish the E-bike world would adopt some standard measurement of battery life/miles . Just like hp and torque on ice motors what about how long it can maintain 40mph until speed falls off . I’m sure these engineers could come up with some better measurement but we need comparable standards

Looks good but far from perfect its easy to carry an extra 5 litres of fuel you’ll need extra battery to extend the range, dependant on terrain will determine your fuel/battery consumption is going to vary
