the front tyre lifts when you lean the bike towards the side stand and then you lock it from the front with a stick. It works with a piece of wood, I don’t see why it would not work with an extendable pice of metal with specific rubber on both ends to avoid the risk of slipping.

Having used similar stands, I need to move the stand farther forward to get the front wheel off the ground. There is no media from trail tech that I can find that shows the front tire lifted with this product. The one pic shows the stand under the engine casing, which is too far back, in my experience, to facilitate lifting the front end. Maybe under the base of the skid? Curious if the stand has enough bite to do that.
